now now now now

I've realised that I'm really impatient.

Example 1: I took up cross-stitching about 3 months ago. I started a huge cross-stitch (30x60cm) and worked on it day and night whenever I could. Think 12 hour days labouring over my cross-stitch and not going out so I could cross-stitch. Yes, obsessed. I even contemplated not going to Cru camp or MYC so I could finish it... All because I wanted to get the finished result NOW.

Example 2: I want to lose some weight before the end of the year. So I've joined a gym for 3 months. Hehehe umm I kinda go almost everyday (I don't go on Thursday or Sunday). I want results NOW NOW NOW but noo my stupid body can't take it. Oohh so frustrating.

Oh and another thing. I've always thought going to the gym was easy. But noooo! It's hard work.

Mmm I wonder what my next craze will be. Suggestions are welcome! Maybe I'll learn a language or learn how to cook (I learned how to boil an egg last week hooray). What crazy thing should I do next?

Swans v Carlton

I went to my first AFL match today with 33,942 other people at the Sydney Cricket Ground. It was great! I think I learnt how AFL works and it's a more physical sport than I thought (well I suppose it is less physical compared to NRL - NRL players have no necks). Oh and I learnt what a wooden spoon is - and hehehe it goes to Carlton.

Carlton was slaughtered :( I don't go for Carlton, but I don't go for the Swans either, so I gave my support to Carlton, since they needed all the support they could get (umm although I did wear Clems Swans cap). The Swans beat Carlton by 92 points! Well, Clem says the consolation they receive from losing, is the first pick of players next year whoo hoo

Thanks for taking me Anna, Clem and Ethan! Twas lots of fun (hehe sorry for asking too many questions...) and those little kids playing at half time are so cute. I want one of those kids.
