Winter Escape 2006
Last week was crazy! Totally crazy! But it was so fun that I would do it all over again (well parts of it anyway)
Last Sunday I headed off to Eastwood with Yvonne to catch a bus with other cru campers and leaders to reach our home for the week - Lake Mac.
In a nutshell: we played lots of crazy games, learnt about being slaves to sin and being a slave to God from Romans, made palaces, ate extreme amounts of sugar and had lots of fun!
I had to go to uni for a winter course on Wednesday and Friday which was really sad because I missed out on going to the beach, laserzone and giving everyone a proper farewell. Still sad. Now I have post-camp blues. Missing the kids lots and the other crazy leaders too.
I might post about it later - I have this takehome exam due on Monday and a final exam on Monday too, which I should study for. *sigh* I wish I could be back on camp right now - yeh and camp was really cool coz there was so many great chats with kids about God - challenging them about being slaves of God and what that really means and of course the great FREE benefits associated with being a slave for God (eternal life yay).
Oh and what a shock to find out Italy and France are in the finals and that Qld won State of Origin? Time seems to stand still when u are at camp.

When did the camp actually finish? It seems like you've been gone for ages...

Yallo Shu! It finished on Friday arvo. I think its coz of stuvac and the exam period that it seems longer :p

Mmmmmmmmmm i miss camp too! Lets do it all over again next year!!
